No visit to the Cayman Islands would be complete without experiencing the Stingray City phenomenon. After a short boat ride across the beautiful North Sound you will arrive at this world famous dive site. You will have the unique opportunity to interact with dozens of friendly Southern Stingrays; over the years they have become incredibly gentle and will expect to be petted and handled.

Our Stingray City trips are normally scheduled as one tank afternoon dives and non divers and snorkelers are welcome to accompany diving friends and family. Our knowledgeable staff will brief you on how to interact safely with these exceptional creatures. Stingray City is truly an amazing experience and certainly should not be missed.
Snorkeling Stingray City Sandbar

Like the original Stingray City described above, the Sandbar is also an area located in the crystal clear waters of the North Sound.  It is ideal for all ages and is safe for even non swimmers as it is only a few feet deep so you are able to stand on the sandy bottom.

Plenty of squid is provided so that everyone has the opportunity to feed and interact with these friendly gentle rays.  After the excitement of the Sandbar we usually make a second stop to snorkel at the amazing Barrier Reef. There you will observe a huge variety of marine life and sometimes have an encounter with a huge green moray eel, and even a nurse shark!
Stingray City
The early departure of this trip means that it is not suitable for cruise ship passengers and is therefore only available for guests staying in hotels/condos on the island.  However, groups arriving to the Cayman Islands via a cruise can arrange their own private charter to the Sandbar which can be scheduled later in the day.  Contact us for more information.
